Welcome Winter!
Well, whether we like it or not, winter is here. The first blast of winter brought us Arctic temps and high winds and heavy snow falls. When the sun finally popped out, it gave us some incredible views.
The Grey-Bruce West Sauble Sno-Riders have been doing an amazing job clearing and grooming our trails. Bogey's Pub & Eatery has been busy hosting both local and visiting "sledders". They tell us that our trails are the best in the area by far. Nice going Sno-Riders!
Sauble Beach Winterfest is almost here. Kick Off is 7pm Friday Jan 19th with a parade, beginning at the Sauble Sign heading East on Main Street to Community Centre Drive. If you're around, come join us for a nice hot meal before you head out to the Community Centre for the Winterfest activities.

Gord from TSBP just confirmed that an ice rink has been started at the Sauble Community Centre. If the weather cooperates, there will be an ice skating rink open during Winterfest 2018. Woo Hoo!
On the Saturday evening of Winterfest Wknd, Bogey's @ Sauble Golf is hosting a special "Rock N Roll Dinner", featuring great live entertainment with "The Dirty Mack Band", performing live while we serve dinner. The band starts at 7pm and wraps up early so we can all head out to The Winterfest Dance at the Community Centre. The open Lake, Arctic Cold and bright sunshine as blended together to give us some of the most beautiful winter sunsets lately. And downtown, the Lake Shore has been transformed into a "moon-like" surface again, attracting visitors from all over. And as is usual, visitors are so fascinated, they tend to be found wandering all over the ice shelves. This year the Township published detailed warnings about walking on the shelves. Hopefully all who visit will heed the warnings and stay in a safe area to see the spectacle.

On Sunday February 4th we are hosting a special Super Bowl Party. Our staff and friends Football Pool is getting more exciting as the days go by. Come and join us for great food and a rousing good time watching the game together.

This year St Patty's Day is on a Saturday nite, so we're hosting a party. You'll be treated to a menu and drinks dressed in Irish green and your ears will get a fabulous treat too, as "Beggars Road" thumps us with their best St Patty's Day set.
